The young bucs from Florida, the youngest starting line-up in baseball put on a hitting clinic.  Led by superstar 24 year old third baseman Miguel Cabrera, who went five for five with a homerun.

Eaton got beat up early, first inning early, and the Phils just couldn't recover.  It wasn't like they didn't try, the potent Phillie offense tug Marlin's ace Dontrelle Willis for five runs on nine hits.

This game was the exact opposite of a pitchers duel, the two teams combining for 27 hits and sixteen runs, the difference - the Fish followed through.  Adam Eaton only lasted four and change and gave up seven runs on ten hits, and the fightin's bullpen didn't fare a whole lot better.

I was a little disappointed in the boys yesterday, when you beat up D-Train for five runs, you gotta win the game.  This wasn't an instance where the better team won, it was an instance where the pitcher who was a little less awful got the win.

Maybe the fightin's were still hungover from their dramatic come from behind win on Friday, or maybe Adam Eaton, and his 7.71 ERA don't belong in the starting rotation, whatever the reason the Phils need to shake it off and get back on track this afternoon.

Expect a solid outing from the elder statesman Jamie Moyer and some big hits from J-Rol, and Utley this afternoon in a Phils win, and Aaron Rowand will remain on fire and add to his career high hitting streak.

Go Phils!
